19 May Dust to Dust: Shortlisted Cities of the Future

The Evolution team, partnering with Symbiosis and Buro Happold entered the Dust to Dust competition with the bold urban proposal for the city of Concepcion in Chile. The brief of healthy soils in the urban setting gave the team the opportunity to think about a a comprehensive way to turn one of the most polluted cities in Latin America into an oasis of health and pioneering management of water and rethinking the urban streets. The team was invited to London to participate in the Design Charette for the teams selected. Evolution was in London in July to meet the other selected teams and share ideas of how the future of healthy soils in the urban setting could be thought of.  Currently the exhibition which will show the result of the proposals is being developed and will open its doors to the public at the SCVA, Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts in Norwich UK this December.
