About This Project

LaFuente is an 18 floor residential building named after the development company’s founders. The project’s water and energy saving systems manage to optimise the use of resources, whilst maintaining a high level of end user comfort. Additionally, the building combined a light-weight structure with bioclimatic design for its facades. The project also includes maintenance plans for its eco-efficient systems and environmental management plans for the waste generated in construction and operation. In 2020 this building was awarded an Eco-efficient Building Design Certification by the Municipality of Quito.
