The Evolution team was present at the opening of the Tesla Building on Mars, August 7. This construction has a bioclimatic design, since the experts took into account the direction of the sun and the type of radiation. To maintain thermal comfort, they turned to cool-lite glass and to the design of windows with specific dimensions and openings to guarantee cross ventilation, with the aim of avoiding the use of air conditioning and heaters, reducing energy consumption. “At first glance they look like normal windows, but those were designed to guarantee the comfort of the inhabitant,” said Michael Maks Davis. Tesla also used environmentally friendly materials such as steel, which enables the reduction of CO2 emissions. They prioritized Ecuadorian production, such as porcelain.
