A study aimed at quantifying the expenditure dedicated to transport research against transport infrastructure. Evolution was called upon to use its wide knowledge base and professional network, with the objective of obtaining statistics to be used in expenditure planning. Evolution’s work highlighted not only the lack of budget dedicated to infrastructure research in development projects, but also set the path for further research work in quantifying such budgets.
