About This Project

This competition entry was for the redesign of the cafeteria, restaurant and masterplan of the Cotopaxi Academy international school of Ecuador. Evolution teamed up with the construction firm Corprancagua CIA and dHUA architects for the project bid. A promotional video, flash presentation and conceptual design was prepared, where the ambition was to transform the school into an ecosystem that worked in simbiosis with its educational activities. The vision of the proposal was that the project could rehabilitate local biodiversity that had been lost due to an increasing urbanisation of the area.
