The conference presentation, led by Michael Maks Davis, highlighted the achievements of an ongoing research project between Evolution and the PUCE university in Ecuador, which begun in 2010 and has spanned climitisation, sound absorption, ecology and more. For this phase a compact vertical garden unit was developed with the aim of competing with traditional air conditioning units in hot, dry climates.
